I still have quite a bit to blog...so this will stay. But I put in my 30 day notice, like 30 days ago. I worked there for a year and 4 months (or more...who's counting). I couldn't bear the same wage after a year and getting screamed at by the psychotic wife of the owner for no reason. The irony is that the students hate this school, but because they really liked me and this one other teacher, they just saw the positive and actually would end up recommending the school to others by the time they left. This school let the other teacher go and they treated me like garbage. DUH...stupid. I worked past my contract because I'm one for enduring things way past their expiration date.
Hmmm. . .your work situation sounds frighteningly like a lot of private hagwons in S. Korea. I wish you all the best--will you stay in the Philippines?
Love to read your blog, so I'm glad to hear that's not ending!
Oooooh T.... let me repeat beloved's question - Will you stay in the Philippines? Just don't quit this blog. Or myspace. Or I'll find you and tickle you in public.
