Penelope Cruz

It doesn't really bother me that Penelope Cruz is ugly, I mean who am I to judge...but I was disturbed to learn from reliable internet sources that she is possibly the worst person who ever lived. She's a bad person. Baby seal clubber is the only atrocity I'll repeat here, because this is a family blog.

Mad as #$%%!

I've had it!
I just saw a video from the BBC World about a North Korean defector who has commit suicide. I'm so angry with all the tragic stories of these defectors, it's so unjust. What they go through is horrid. To put up this blog entry I searched for photos of "North Korean defectors" and I found this terrible photo of a woman in China trying to make it through the gates of an embassy and the Chinese gestapo, two of them pulling her down, one has her from behind, the other is blocking the gate. On the other side of the fence is her tiny little girl who made it through watching the whole thing. If you type in North Korean Defectors on Yahoo and click images you can see it, but I couldn't steal it for the blog, it didn't work.

That woman in the photo is likely dead now. She was sent back to NK, and usually there is an excecution. Yeah, I'm pissed at China, but they're quite open about their stupidity. I'm mad at South Korea which is where the defectors go to commit suicide after being treated like shit by South Koreans. I'm mad at the USA, but to know why one would have to follow the involvement of the US in the situation. South Korea is like the little brother who can't make a move without the US big brother, and big brother is kind of an ass. The US doesn't even treat South Korea with that much respect, especially when compared to Japan.

HELP these people...anyone...
I mean how much sense does it make to condemn North Korea if we don't Let The People GO!?!

Covered Body in the Pickup.
I hate to interrupt, but one of the South Korean hostages in Afghanistan has been excecuted. It's not on Yahoo news when I log in, and so I went to CNN dot com.

Excuse me, but what?
The Bush administration promised that they were going to Iraq to fight "them over there". So people said, "How come Iraq? I thought Afghanistan..."
"Shhh" they said, "You don't love America."
"Mr. Bush, are you going after Osama Bin Laden?"
"Saddam Hussein is a bad guy."
"Yes, we knew that when you put him in his regime...any way...Osama.."
"You hate America. We are fighting them over there."

One day back in the Clinton administration, Bill bombed Afghanistan. Remember? Or maybe we don't remember because that was during zippergate. People said, oh, look wag the dog. Well, no Afghanistan was important zippergate was not.

He was bombing Osama Bin Laden's hideout and missed him. He had no support as the country was torn apart by Kenneth Starr's Whitewater rampage that ended in nothing useful whatsoever for anyone. Bill left office, and passed on the documents to Bush about what was up with Bad Boy Bin Laden. We know what happened next. Nothing, and then something...9/11

Now ITS NOT EVEN NEWS that the Taliban in Afghanistan continually kidnap and sometimes excecute people.
So HOW about fighting them OVER THERE?

LIARS

Go get these people, or you're over there for nothing.
Oh yeah, we already knew that.

Why are South Korean troops in Afghanistan? You think SOUTH KOREA has some beef with the Middle East? They're supporting US troops. I see in the news today that there is fighting going on there, and some Taliban have been taken out...and some NATO troops have gone down.

My question is, at the very least, why is this not a big news story in the US?
The US is the one that should be busting those hostages out or negotiating. I know that I don't fully understand the current Afghanistan situation, but I know that it's our beef (US) and others are supporting the cause. Shouldn't they be helped?

LIARS Bush, Cheney and the whole Lot of you.

Really Quickly

A clarification on illegal immigration.

Illegals come in all shapes and sizes for different reasons doing different things. I'm not really concerned about this issue, it's not a pet topic of mine.

The group that concerns me is migrant farm workers, but I think that nowadays most of these guys are properly documented. I'm not sure but I think that's the case. If so, then the subject of illegal immigration doesn't really appeal to me.

My hatred for greedy business practices superceeds any concern I would have for illegal aliens. Labor issues are close to my heart and illegals working because business owners are cheap greedy law breakers is not okay, bust those suckers!

As far as the new hotly debated legislation goes, a 5,000 dollar fine and all the red tape (including a trip home?) that these people have to go through doesn't sound like amnesty to me.

As far as hating Sean Hannity goes, I'll not apologize for that. He's an asshat.

I'm Watching You, Girl!

I really want to swear right now, and that's another thing the devil makes me feel like doing when I bump heads with him. I'm stunned . I just found out that one of my blog entries has been linked to by three websites one of which is HANNITY DOT COM.... Yeah, as in Sean Hannity, as in the devil's shoe shiner. That guy.

What did I do to deserve this? It's a post from March 2007 about the New Bedford Immigration Raid. I made some one dimensional conservative comment, and boom. Well, in this case, it looks like illegal immigrants actually were doing jobs that citizens could be doing. BUT not all illegal immigration can be painted with the same brush. It's a whole different chunk of cheese in California.

The thing that freaks me out is I have NO WAY of knowing when someone links to my blog, I found it on accident. It's not in my editing capabilities here to see that.

I make one little right-wing observation and the devil just can't sit still. I pay for everything I do, I swear. And just so none of you are mislead by popular religious non-sense, according to the Bible, the devil would look a lot more like this than the above photo. Look at him looking so perfect in this imperfect world (evil)! Smoking cigarettes (evil), having coffee with t, probably spying on me (possibly evil) in a dress I would LOVE to have (evil)...how can you doubt his real identity? [Dave, I know that with this particular criteria you could also qualify as the devil, but don't worry.]

Wet Me

I'm drenched right now and a little irritated, not feeling like a good sport. Today where I live there's a water splashing tradition going on. If you step outside your house people attack you. They line up along side the roads to throw water in to the tricycles and jeepneys. The jeepneys put the plastic down over the windows, but it doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter if you're a senior citizen carrying the fish for sale for the day, there's no age or nationality discrimination. I feel bad for not being a good sport, but it is really annoying to have people screaming and coming at you with all this water and they are having a riot of a time at your expense. To me, today all these people look like fools. But...maybe I need to just get into it or something.

Well, Theresa...what does it signify, does it signify something? Yeah, it signifies that people are idiots. Ok, not really. I'm sourgraping.

My jeepney ride reminded me of a ride at an amusement park today, and then I remembered that I have a long post coming up about how the Philippines is like the ride Pirates Of The Caribbean at Disneyland. Not kidding, there are many similarities. I think it's going to be a long post though and I'm lazy.

"We Have No King But Ceasar"

I'll never ever forget the first time I read the Bible and then came to that point, that quote, the title of this post. It's what the Jews told Pontius Pilate...go ahead, make our day. The entire Bible up until that point had been the God of the Jews ordering them to worship him alone and stay separate from the world. It's what the whole thing is about...and then...this quote. We have no king but Ceasar. Forget Christ, they just disowned their own God by saying that.

NOW
: I just read an article about the Mormon church view of politics.
"In our view the first loyalty of a member of the Church in his role as a government official is to the nation and his constituency," he said.
"Even where the church has taken a firm or vigorous position on something, which we do occasionally, if a member as a government officer votes in a different way or contrary to the church's position there's no church censure, there's no church discipline applied," he said.

Yeah, We have no king but Ceasar. Thanks for making that clear. Although your actions have always made that clear. The devil offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and all the governments, the devil said they had been given to him... Jesus didn't argue that they weren't the devil's to give...but he did say no I don't want the governments, my kingdom is no part of this world. It is God alone you must worship. Religion in politics sickens me.

Here's another thing, I have yet to meet a Mormon that doesn't complain about paying taxes, and I met one who said taxes should be abolished. It would be nice if people claiming to be Christians read the Bible. Jesus picked up a coin and said, "Who's head is on this coin?" The answer was Ceasar's. Jesus said, "then pay back Ceasar's things to Ceasar and God's things to God." God is the one who owns your life and your service, not "your nation and your constituency", and Ceasar owns your money. That's according to the Bible. False religion is bassackwards.

Jerry Falwell Dead!

WOW. I didn't know he was 73! Actually nowadays that's a young age to die.

He's 'lucky' that there's no eternal torment for souls in a burning hellfire. That teaching is not in the Bible. Of course he didn't know that. I doubt he studied it very much.

Jerry Falwell was a creep of a man spreading false religion around in the most hateful terms. One of the leaders of the American Taliban.

He will rest in peace, because God is kinder than I am.

I just read he was the grandson of an athiest and son of an agnostic.
I am granddaughter of an athiest and daughter of an athiest.
I believe that Jerry Falwell was also an atheist because he didn't seem to care if he was misrepresenting God. If you know people who truly revere a creator, you can tell the difference in spirit right away. He treated his religion like politics and a worldly pursuit. He put forth a religious philosophy, but not true worship and reverential fear of a creator.

People who really love God don't crusade against others, it's just a fact. This little rant here may seem like a crusade, but I have ignored Jerry Falwell on the whole. The Bible's first (and almost only) angry target is false religion, especially people who claim to represent Him directly. So I don't pull any punches when it comes to people who have done so much damage to the reputation of the Bible. But I still try to watch myself. Rarely did Jerry Falwell behave as though he was being watched.

Cho Seung Hui and George Bush

What's the difference?

A: George has opted to remain among the living.

(I'm in a bad mood today.)
